We're a local church that gathers in Seattle's University District, with members and friends from around the city, country, and globe. We focus on Kingdom transformation at many levels, from personal to urban to creation itself.
One of the ways we summarize our sense of purpose is simply this: Calling Creation to Life in Christ. Jesus, the "Word made flesh," came to give us Life, and we seek Life in Him as we worship together in Spirit and in Truth, as we extend the mercy and justice of God's Kingdom to the "least, last & lost," and as we invite "whosoever will" to be joined to God's people and be transformed by His marvelous love.
LOOKING TO JOIN US IN WORSHIP?
We enjoy meeting visitors at our services, and hope you will feel at home among us.
Our services run from 10:00 am to noon, beginning with worship and praise, and ending with a time of communion. To learn more about what to expect, please click on this link.
We also host an evening prayer and worship time from 6:30-8:00 pm. This is a low-key gathering for those desiring to enter into singing and prayer to the Lord, both on individually and as a group.
Please feel welcome to join us in seeking the Lord together.
COMMISSION 105
The Commission 100 series corresponds to the Seattle Vineyard Centennial Project, a building project begun in the Fall of 2006 when the Seattle Vineyard's historic house of worship turned 100 years old. Each Fall and Spring, the Seattle Vineyard Arts Team hosts a Commission celebration that calls the community together in worship and thanksgiving around a particular artistic expression, provides progress reports on the Centennial Project, and connects the worshiping life of our church with both its physical setting and its broader mission.
This year, we are holding Commission 105. To learn more about or commission theme for this season, see this link.
